You can either hike the world renowned Tongariro Alpine Crossing in the Tongariro National Park, one of the most spectacular walks in New Zealand OR .... Cycle the Ohakune Old Coach Road; follow in the footsteps of the early settlers. Its a unique cycle-way, steeped in history and one section of Nga Haerenga, (The New Zealand Cycle Trail).

Walk the iconic Tongariro Alpine Crossing and stay at Manuka Lodge in the fantastic little Mountain town of Ohakune with a shuttle included which picks you up and drops you off door to door. After completion of this amazing one day hike, relax in the spa and perhaps enjoy a good meal in one of the best restaurants in town.
